Mehndi..a traditional art of Asia, middle East and other sub-cultures. An art that takes a lot of practice...patience...and skill. A good number of us find it difficult to draw with a pencil or pen..now imagine the difficulty level of drawing with a cone and on human skin instead of paper. My interest in this grew due to the simple beauty and grace of the outcome of an hour or two of meticulous work. Over time...it seems like I have been doing Ok..and so I figured I could share them with all of you. So...here are some snaps of some of the mehndi that I put on myself and other people.
